Questions for Learning: Backwards Hook from #tlap

This summer, participants of secondary EQuIP had the pleasure of hearing from guest speaker, Dave Burgess.  Burgess, a current high school teacher, is the author of Teacher Like a Pirate:  Increase Engagement, Boost Your Creativity, and Transform Your Life as an Educator.

Educators from across the district walked away with inspiring "hooks" to heighten engagement for learners throughout classroom lessons.  Below are some sample questions for the backwards hook, aimed at engaging students by having them build backwards, or engage them with an end product.  Consider using these questions to drive your planning for an upcoming lesson.
